The Missaukee Area Community Foundation has a collection box in the library for donations for mittens, gloves, boots, or scarf’s for area youth.  Thank you for your contributions.

 

Starting Wednesday at lunch, Student Council will be selling Candy grams.  Candy grams are holiday cards, along with a piece of chocolate candy that can be delivered to anyone in the middle school. They will be sold for a quarter each or 5 for $1.  They will be selling through next Friday the 18th.  Student Council will hand deliver them during Homeroom on the 23rd.  All proceeds go to the Missaukee Humane Society.

 

7th grade basketball team lost to Pine River last night 44-21.  The game was much closer than the final score.  Good job boys.  8th grade boys won a close one to a tough Pine River team 39-30.  Good defense and good rebounding played an important role in their win.

The Natural Helpers are starting the annual Food Drive for Project Christmas.  The drive will continue through the 10th of December. The homeroom that brings in the most items will receive an ice cream party hosted by the Natural Helpers. 

 

We’ve extended the sale….Trojan flip-flops are still available to order, order forms are in the office.

 

The Weight Room will be open to 8th grade boys only on Mon, Wed and Thursday

3:30 PM - 4:30 PM.

YACsters – please remember to deliver your Fingers and Toes boxes.  They should be delivered by tomorrow at the latest.  If you need flyers to put on them, please stop by Ms. Morse’s room to grab some!!

 

Jostens will deliver class rings on December 8.

 

FRESHMEN – we need ticket takers for the girls home basketball games.  We need four per game.  Sign up in

Mrs. McNalley’s room.  This is an easy way for our class to make money.  The first game is December 1.

 

Caberfae Peaks Community Red Cards are available for $1.00 each.  Red cards offer discounts on lift tickets and ski or board rentals.  If you would like to purchase a red card see Ms. Gilson before school, during your lunch break, or after school.

 

Trojan-wear will be on sale through December 4.  Extra order forms are in the information center outside Mrs. Richardson’s office.  Get some “red and black” to wear and support LCHS!  Items are great Christmas gifts.

The weight room will be open on Monday, Wednesdays, and Thursdays beginning today.  All athletes not currently participating in winter sports are strongly encouraged to attend.

There is a sign-up sheet up sheet for 6th grade boys interested in basketball, stop in the office and sign up.  There will be a parent meeting Monday, November 30, at 6:30 at the main building cafeteria.
