Lake City Middle School Bulletin for Monday, May 23, 2016

Lake City Schools Variety Show Dress Rehearsal for the variety show will be June 3 at 5:30 with the actual Show on Saturday, June 4th at 6:00pm. The cost is $5 at the door, come on out and support our performers.

Lunch Starting today, you will no longer be able to charge a lunch. If you are Reduced or Full Paid you will need cash in hand or money on your account to eat lunch. If you do not have either, you will be given the alternative meal.....a cheese sandwich. This does not apply to Free lunch students. Thank you for your cooperation!

Yearbooks Yearbooks are still on sale. There are a few weeks left to order your yearbook. Forms are located in the office, hallway or library. Cost is only $16.

Summer is here! With the warm and sunny weather finally here we ask that you remember that sunglasses/hats are not to be warn in school. Also, shorts/skirts should be at least fingertip length. No tank tops. If any questions you can refer to the student handbook for more details. Thank you!

Boys Basketball Camps Attention: all boys’ basketball players interested in playing basketball next year please pick up a Lake City Basketball Camp registration form across from office. 6th and 7th graders grab the GREEN sheet, and 8th graders the BLUE sheet. The camps run June 20-23rd. Also, if you are an 8th grader who is planning on attending the Ferris State Team Camp please get your cash or check of $75 to Coach Besko as soon as possible. If you have any questions about any of the camps please see Coach Besko. Thanks!

Mobile Dentist Mobile Dentist will be in our district on Monday, June 6th. If you are interested please pick up a form from the office now through May 31st. Forms are due to the office by June 2nd.

Girls Summer Sports Skills Camp For all girls entering 7th and 8th grade next year...we have summer sports skills camp for you to attend. The dates are June 15th - 17th. Stop by during your lunch time to grab a form. Form and payment must be returned to the office by June 8th.

GFV We have a few sleeping bags that were left behind from the GFV trip. Stop in the office to claim yours.

Middle School Track For all athletes that participated in track this year, we will be having a pizza party tomorrow, beginning at 11:07 and running through both lunches. Also remember to turn in your uniform to the office!

Fine Arts Fair Tonight! Middle School Band Concerts; 6th at 6:30p, 7th at 7:00p, 8th at 7:30p. High School Concert is at 8:00pm. Visual arts displays will be displayed in the hallway by the high school library from 7:00-9:00pm. We hope to see you and your family there!

Spring Trash Bag Sale The spring trash bags sale will be held May 2-15. See any spring athlete or stop in the athletic office to place an order.

Cell Phone/Electronic Device Reminder Remember that all phones and electronic devices should be turned off and placed in your locker once school starts. Use of personal iPods, phones, or other electronic devices can be used during lunch time ONLY. If you need to use the phone for illness please use the office phone. If a student is found in possession of a cell phone it will be confiscated and parents will be asked to pick it up from school. A second offense will result in out-of-school suspension.

Spring Trash Bag Sale The spring trash bags sale will be held May 2-15. See any spring athlete or stop in the athletic office to place an order.

Please Join Us!! Class of 2020, come join us at the High School Auditorium on Thursday, May 12th at 6pm for a Student and Parent Orientation. This meeting will provide important information regarding your High School experience and you won't want to miss out.
