Lake City girls finished 2nd in a tight meet against McBain last night.  Although the girls did not win they put on some marvelous performances.

Britt Barkley in the 3200 meter run exceptional 1st place, followed by Nicole Whitney running it for the 1st time and taking a solid 3rd.  In the 55 m Hurdles Cassandra DelRosa was 1st barely edging teammate Megan Adkins.  In the 800 m run Sam Gallup was 1st and Rachel Gaylord 4th.  Nicole Whitley looked strong taking the 1600 m run followed by tough teammates Erin Swanson and Harley Londak for 2nd and 3rd.  In the 400 Meter Tylor Londak was 2nd.  Britt Barkley not only won the 3200 m run but also the 70 meter dash.  She was joined by Rachel Gaylord placing 3rd in the 70.  Megan Atkins was 2nd in the 200 hurdles.  Kailey Flint was 1st in the 200.  In the shot put the team was 2nd 3rd and 4th. Mikyla Granger, Kaitlyn Guest and Sarah Taylor; nice job girls.  In the 800 Relay we had to make some changes putting Erin Swanson in a new spot and the girls ran hard for a 2nd place finish. Again same for the 1600 meter relay Nicole Whitle stepped in and helped the team compete. Good jop to all the girls for working together and stepping up!
