Lake City Middle School Bulletin for Friday, April 17, 2015

STAND Assembly Today The STAND Strength Team will be here today from 2:15-3:00 in the gym. This is a team of world class athletes and educators who are dedicated to reaching the youth of this nation with core values of character building, academic excellence, conflict resolution, and overcoming the difficult circumstances of life! The STAND Strength Team will also be at the Christian Reform Church of Lake City on April 17th at 7:00pm, Saturday-April 18th at 6:00pm, and Sunday-April 19 at 6:00pm.

Let's Dance! Next Friday, April 24th, Student Council will be hosting a dance from 3:05-5:00. The cost is $2. Jason Smith will be back to dj. Pizza and pop will be sold.

Scholastic Book Fair The "Buy One, Get One" Sale starts Monday-April 20, 8:00-12:00p. The hours for Tuesday-Friday, April 21-24, will be 8:00a-3:30pm. Stop by the library to check out the wonderful selection books and gifts and take advantage of the buy one, get one free sale!

MABA Registration If you or siblings are interested in playing summer ball with the Missaukee Area Ball Association it's not too late to register. Please stop in to the office and pick up a registration form today!

Lake City Variety Show If you didn't get a chance to audition on Wednesday for the upcoming Lake City Variety Show but have a 3-minute "school appropriate" act that you would like to add, today is the last day to see Ms. Porter. The Lake City Variety Show will be Saturday, May 2 at the high school auditorium. If you are not interested in being in the spotlight but want to assist behind the scenes please speak with Ms. Porter.

 

 

8th Grade-Greenfield Village Trip The office is accepting permission slips for Greenfield Village. All permission slips need to be in by May 17th. Please place the permission forms in the box on the counter in the office. Thank you!

Lake City Variety Show Get your ACT together for the Lake City Variety Show! We are looking for 3 minute "school appropriate" acts for the Lake City Variety Show held on Saturday, May 2. If you are interested or a group of friends are interested in sharing your talent or an act and you missed auditions yesterday you may still be a part of the show if you speak with Ms. Porter by this Friday, April 17. If you are not interested in being in the spotlight but want to assist behind the scenes please talk with Ms. Porter.
