Lake City Middle School Bulletin for Friday, October 21, 2016

MDOT Bridge Building 7th and 8th graders that are interested in the 2017 MDOT Bridge Building please see Mr. Kent by the end of October.

MS Yearbooks Yearbooks for the 2016 2017 school year are now on sale. Cost is ONLY $8.00. You can pick up a form in the office or Library. If your parent ordered a yearbook with your picture packet, you do not have to reorder one.

Atom Model Any 8th grade student that would like to get their atom model from Mrs. Bisballe's classroom see her after school.

Friday's after school events-

The first middle school dance is tonight from 3:05 to 5:00. Hot Traxx will dj. The cost is $2. Pizza and pop will be sold. Pizza is $1 and pop is .75. Please have your ride here at 5:00. If you forgot to make plans for this you may use the phone during your lunch time only.

The last JV and Varsity games are tonight so you may be able to head out to the games after the dance! Student cost for the game is $3.00.

6th Grade Girls Basketball If you are interested in basketball this year we have the program for you! The 5th & 6th Grade Girls Traveling Basketball Program will begin their first practice of the season on November 14th. The cost is $20 with forms available across from the office. Forms need to be turned in by Friday, November 11th.

7th & 8th Boys Basketball Try-outs are Monday and Tuesday next week, Oct. 24th & 25th. The 8th grade boys practice will be 3:30-5pm with 7th grade practice from 5-6:30pm. Be sure to relay this information to your parents before Monday!

6th Grade Band will be having a concert tomorrow, October 20th,7:00pm at the middle school. Band members need to be ready to warm up by 6:30pm in the band room. We look forward to the performance!

Middles School Tailgate Party tonight, Oct. 19 The Problem Solving class will be hosting a Middle School Football Tailgate party this Wednesday, Oct. 19th from 4:30-5:15. Hotdogs, hamburgers, and more will be sold to help raise money for a school store.

Middles School Tailgate Party on Oct. 19 The Problem Solving class will be hosting a Middle School Football Tailgate party this Wednesday, Oct. 19th from 4:30-5:15. Hotdogs, hamburgers, and more for sale before the game with all proceeds going toward the making of a “school store” here at the middle school!
