Next Week-Spirit Days Spring is near so to celebrate students get to show their spirit once more by participating in special “spring” dress up days: Monday-Sports Day (Favorite Team or athlete), Tuesday-Mismatch Day, Wednesday-Beach Day (remember it’s also picture day so wear clothing in the morning for pictures), Thursday-Red, Black, & White Day

March is Reading Month Next Monday is the last drawing for the Scholastic Book Fair Certificate and Wednesday will be the drawing for the Kindles. Good news is that you still have some time to take those AR tests and get added to the drawing.

Spring Break Starts next Friday, April 3, through Friday, April 10th. Students return to school on Monday, April 13th. Enjoy your break!

8th Grade Greenfield Village Trip   Tomorrow is the last day for 8th grades students to pay for the Greenfield Village Trip. If you haven't paid yet or you haven't paid the last portion due please do so tomorrow.

Volleyball for 2015-2016 Sign-up in the office if you are interested in playing JV volleyball next year. There is a meeting today at 11:20 in the band room. If you have signed up or are thinking of signing up please be sure to be at the meeting today.

Missaukee Area Ball Association Summer ball registration for students ages 5-15 started yesterday. If you didn't go to last night's registration be sure to get there tonight. Registration is at the high school in the main lobby from 6:30-8pm.

Missaukee Area Ball Association Summer ball registration will begin this week for students ages 5-15. Registration will be in the high school main lobby tonight from 6:30-8:00pm.. Registration forms will be available during registration time

 

Middle School Track Practice begins on Wednesday, March 25. You must have a physical on file in order to participate.  If you have questions, please see Mr. Robertson or Mr. Randall

 

There will be an informational meeting tomorrow during B lunch/Advisory for 8th grade girls interested in playing JV volleyball.

 

 

 

Lake City Middle School Bulletin for Monday, March 23, 2015 

March is Reading Month! The 7th grade class won Friday's competition for the most participation in "dress as your favorite book character" day. The 8th grade came in second with 28% and 6th grade had 23% participation. Continue to read and complete AR tests so that your name is added for a chance to win one more Scholastic Book Fair certificate and Kindles.

Missaukee Area Ball Association Summer ball registration will begin this week for students ages 5-15. Registration forms will be available during registration time, 6:30-8pm this Tuesday and Wednesday.
