The Lake City Boys didn’t know exactly what to expect when they met up with a talented Manton team yesterday.

Winning the 3200 meter run for the Trojans was James Cox.

The hurdle crew of Zach Peery, Alec Ash and Kevin Smith finished first, second and fourth.

The 800 meter relay team of Jared Hansen, Levi Burkholder, Zack Lichon and Zach Perry took the win.

The 800 meter run squad of Kyler Root, Troy Flint and Jake Siler took first, third and fourth.

James Cox and Chris Swanson finished 1st and 2nd in the 1600 meter run.

Ethan Hinkston and James Hollars finished second and third in the 100 meter dash

Nolan Davenport, Kyler Root and Alec Ash finished first, third and fourth in the 400 meter dash.

The 3200 meter relay of Dan Liestenfelts, Jared Wright, Jake Siler and Troy Flint crossed the line first.

Zack Lichon and Storm Francisco finished 2nd and 4th in the 70 meter dash.

Zach Peery, Dan Liestenfelts and Kevin Smith finished 1st, 3rd and 4th in the 200 meter hurdles.

The 200 meter dash found Nolan Davenport finishing 2nd and Storm Francisco finishing 4th.

The 1600 meter relay of Ryan Vincent, Kyler Root, Troy Flint and Nolan Davenport finished first.

Tim Sherman finished third in shot put.

Dan Liestenfelts and Tim Sherman finished second and third in the high jump.

Levi Burkholder and Alec Ash finished third and fourth in the long jump.

Jake Siler, Storm Francisco and Ryan Vincent finished first, second and fourth in the pole vault.

When the dust settled, the Lake City boys finished the meet with a 93 to 66 victory.  Way to step up to the challenge, boys.

Remember, no practice on Friday.  Enjoy the dance.

 

Last night the girls Middles School Track Team soundly defeated Manton by a score of 93 to 69.  Many athletes turned in personal bests!

In the 3200 meter run Brittnae Barkley ran to a 1st place finish with a time of 17:48.  Taking 2nd and 3rd for Lake City were Karlie Maxwell and Megan Eising.

For the 55 hurdles Cassandra DelRosa and Megan Akins both ran personal bests of 10:8 and 11:58.

Samantha Gallup Emily DeForge and Rachel Gaylord Placed 1st, 2nd and 4th respectively.

In the 1600 meter run Erin Swanson ran a personal best of 7:21 followed by Nicole Whitney in 3rd and Harley Londak in 4th.

Brook Horton Brittnae Barkley and Sophie Booms were 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the 100 m dash.

In the 400 meter run Tylor Londak grabbed a 1st place with a time of 1.75 seconds.  Samantha Gallup took a solid 4th place for LC.

In the 70 meter dash Brook Horton and Brittnae Barkley garnered 2nd and 4th place finishes.

In the 200 meter hurdles Cassandra Del Rosa ran to a 33:01 1st place finish.  Megan Adkins ran a solid 3rd place finish with a time of 35:40.

Kailey Flint ran to an extraordinary finish in the 200 with a time of 28:81.  Emily Deforge was 3rd.

The 1600 meter relay team comprised of Tylor Londak, Megan Adkins, Sam Gallup and Cassandra DelRosa walked away a victor.

In the pole vault Kailey Flint took 1st and Samantha Roach 3rd.

The Shot Put team of Mikyla Granger, Kaitlyn Guest and Sarah Taylor took 2nd, 3rd and 4thh .

Brook Horton was1st in the long jump, followed by Brook Rosekrans and Samantha Roach.

Sophie Booms and Mikyla Granger grabbed 3rd and4th places in the high jump.

The will be an open gym for volleyball on Sunday, April 27 from 4- 6 pm, at the high school gym for any 8th grade ladies interested in playing volleyball next fall.

 

There will be a dance this Friday, April 25th, after school until 5:00 pm.  Pizza and pop will be sold, Hot Traxx will DJ.  Have your rides here promptly at 5:00.  If you leave the building you will not be able to return.

 

There will be softball practice this Sunday from 2-4:00 pm for current 7th and 8th grade girls behind the middle school.

The Lake City boys were very successful at Marion yesterday, beating NMC and Marion.

Placing for the Trojans were:

Nolan Davenport and Tim Sherman placing 2nd and 4th in the high jump.

Jake Siler, Storm Francisco and Ryan Vincent placing 1st, 2nd and 4th in the Pole Vault.

Alec Ash, Kevin Smith, Levi Burkholder and Jared Hansen taking first through fourth in the long jump.

Zach Peer placed first with Kevin Smith and Dan Liestenfelts finishing third and fourth in the 200 meter hurdles.

The 200 meter dash found Nolan Davenport finishing 2nd, Ethan Hinkston finishing 3rd and Storm Francisco finishing fourth.

The newly formed 400 meter relay team of James Cox, Zack Lichon, Jimmy Hollars and Ethan Hinkston ended the meet with a win.

The Lake City team dominated with a final score of NMC 12, Marion 41 and Lake City 100.

Great job guys.
