Last night the 8^th grade volleyball team lost a tough game to McBain 13-21, 21-9 and 15-21. The 7th grade volleyball team finished up their season last night against the Ramblers of McBain winning all three games of the match.  They ended the season undefeated, 13-0!!!!! Great job girls!!!!

 

Reminder to all boys playing basketball. 7^th grade practice will begin on Monday from 3:15 to 5 p.m. 8^th grade practice will be 4:45 to 6:30 p.m.  You MUST have a physical on file in the office before you can practice.

 

Picture retake day is scheduled for Tuesday, November 9 during homeroom and first hour. You must have the picture packet that you are returning or an order form.

A reminder to students walking to the high school/elementary building, you need to go one street towards town and then walk to the other building.  You are not to walk on Houghton Street.  Along this same note, students should not be walking through someone’s yard to get to or from school.  Please walk on the sidewalk or road’s edge.

 

Students: Remember if you are absent from school you or your parents can check the teachers’ blog to see what assignments you missed.

The Lake City Middle School football team finished their season last night.  The team played a hard fought game but ran out of time losing 24-14. Great finish to a great season.

A reminder to students walking to the high school/elementary building, you need to go one street towards town and then walk to the other building.  You are not to walk on Houghton Street.  Along this same note, students should not be walking through someone’s yard to get to or from school.  Please walk on the sidewalk or road’s edge.

The 7th grade volleyball team had a great night last night and came away from the tri-meet with two wins. The Trojans outlasted the Bucks of Pine River 21-19 and 21-9 and the Rangers from Manton 21-12 and 21-19.  The team is undefeated so far.

 

Last night our Lake City Middle School 8^th grade volleyball teams took on Pine River and Manton in our first home tri-contest.  The 8^th grade defeated Pine River 21-18, 21-14 and defeated Manton 21-19, 21-18.  Excellent teamwork and good serving were the keys to a hard fought win.  The volleyball teams host the last game of the season Thursday at 5 against the McBain Ramblers.

The Lake City Athletic Boosters trash bag sale ended on Friday. Those student /athletes that have order forms, please drop your order forms in the office now.

 

All 7^th and 8^th grade boys interested in playing basketball there will be a short meeting in Mr. Hubbard’s room.  Please report to room 188 at this time.

 

7^th grade student council members and natural helpers please report to the library at this time.
