Lake City Middle School Bulletin for Friday, January 31, 2014 ...

The Missaukee County Road Commission requests your cooperation through the winter months while snowplowing is taking place. Please be aware of the fact that the plows are on the roads many mornings at the same times as the busses. Make sure that you wait a safe distance from the plowed portion of the roadway until the bus actually arrives at the stop.

Mrs. Chadwick would like to remind all students: students are only permitted to exit through the doors to the outside lab; you are not allowed to exit through any other door. Also, students using the outside lab during home room will be dismissed as a group at the end of homeroom.

The middle school lunch 3 on 3 basketball tournament will begin on Monday, February 3rd. We will be going over the rules and schedule this Friday during lunch.

We are continuing to have problems with students throwing and kicking basketballs and volleyballs during lunch break causing numerous injuries. This will not be tolerated. Any students who continue to throw and kick balls during lunch will be removed from all lunch activities. Students will not be given warnings. No shooting from half court is allowed at any time. Volleyballs are only used for volleying. No serving, throwing or spiking is allowed. Please remember if rules cannot be followed in the gym all activities will be suspended and students will be required to stay seated during lunch period.

School Ski/Snowboard Program: To those students who were signed up for the ski/snowboard program this past Monday – we will be going on Monday, February 3. Anyone interested in going on our February 10th trip, please sign up in the office by the end of the day this Friday.

Attention Tera Bisballe's 6th grade girls basketball team:  the game for tomorrow in Baldwin has been changed to noon.

Last night the 7th grade girls beat Marion 36-28.  A great effort was given by all.
