The Missaukee County Road Commission requests your cooperation through the winter months while snowplowing is taking place. Please be aware of the fact that the plows are on the roads many mornings at the same times as the busses. Make sure that you wait a safe distance from the plowed portion of the roadway until the bus actually arrives at the stop.

 

Missaukee Agricultural Youth Show - All MARKET exhibitors for the Missaukee Agricultural Youth Show are required to attend 2 educational classes. The class schedule can be found on the Missaukee Agricultural Youth Show Facebook page. Postcards with the schedule will be mailed to exhibitors from last year. Registered 4H members who attend their regular meetings are not required to attend the meetings put on by the MAYS board. Also any exhibitor who participates solely in the indoor or equine events is excused. If you have any questions, please contact Amanda Outman at 231-468-1851.

 

MSBOA District 1 Band Festival will be held this today at Manistee High School. The 8th grade band will be performing at 9:50 am. 8th grade band members will be leaving at 7:45 am and returning by 7^th hour today.

 

Missaukee Mountain will host their annual Family Fun Day on Sunday, February 23rd. There will be ski and snowboard contests and grilled burgers. Join the fun at Missaukee Mountain on Sunday from 11-5.

 

Powerline Softball Clinic – On February 23rd, Manton will host a softball clinic. Pre-registration is required. More information is posted on the bulletin board outside the office.

 

Caberfae Ski/Snowboard trip – Sign-up in the office for the March 3rd Caberfae by Friday morning this week. For those signed-up for the February 24th trip, your money and permission slips are due by Friday.

Girls basketball results: Last Thursday the 7th grade girls basketball team won against McBain 31-20 and last night the lady Trojans lost a very close game to Pine Rive 19 to 20.
