March is Reading Month! March is reading month. Listen to the announcement for dress up days and a chance to win a Kindle. Friday will be the first drawing for a $10 book fair gift certificate. All you need to do is take AR tests.
For every three points you earn, your name will be entered into a drawing to win the gift certificate. The second drawing will be later next week.
Pajama Day and 1/2 day of reading on Friday, March 13th. Spirits points earned for class participation.
First Home MS Wrestling Meet Last evening, we had our first ever home MS wrestling meet, against Manton, Pine River, and Kingsley. Our team, who has been wrestling for a few weeks, went against many athletes who have been wrestling for a few years. They showed tremendous courage, persistence and fight in their matches. Great job wrestlers!
3 on 3 Basketball Tournament Opportunities There are two different "3 on 3" tournaments available for basketball enthusiasts: 1. 19th Annual Pine River 3 on 3 Tournament held on Saturday, March 14, 2015 with a cost of $80 if submitted by March 6th or $75 if postmarked by February 20th. 2. 10th Annual Reed City 3 on 3 Tournament held on Saturday, March 21 with a cost of $80 if submitted by March 16th or $75 if postmarked by March 6th. 3. Return of the Evart Slam & Jam-3 on 3 Tournament held on Saturday, March 28, 2015 with a cost of $80 Both tournaments are for boys and girls ages 7-18. Team registration forms can be picked up across the hall from the office on the wall between the teacher's lounge and boy's bathroom.
