Lake City Middle School Bulletin for Friday, April 25, 2014 ...

 

Book Fair information! Scholastic Buy One Get One Book Fair ends today.

 

AmeriGas School Days Program offers schools a $0.02 per gallon incentive. Through the School Day Program, AmeriGas will give our school up to $2,000.00 per year to purchase items for any school-related need with funds earned from the School Days Program. Schools have purchased books, computers, sports equipment, band equipment, art materials and more. All you have to do is save your AmeriGas (Holton's LP Gas) receipts and drop them into one of our school offices. It's that simple!

 

Students are reminded of our dance tomorrow. The cost is $2. Pizza and pop will be sold. Have rides here at 5:00.

 

ORV training class will be held this Saturday from 8 am to 2 pm. To register, call 839-4338 extension #1.

 

Mobile Dentists will be visiting next week. Be sure to get your form turned into the office asap.

 

Any 6th grade girls interested in playing volleyball, please get your form and the money back to Mrs. Nolan by next Wednesday. You must be registered to attend.

Last day of Spirit Week is tomorrow! Friday is Twin Day "Twin with your Sadie Hawkins date or a friend!" Hats are okay to be worn in the halls, but must be taken off in the classrooms. Appropriate behavior is expected throughout spirit week.

 

Pony softball league There will be a practice tonight from 5:30-7:00 in the Middle School gym, for all 7th and 8th grade girls signed up for the Pony softball league this summer. Please bring your glove.

Any 6th grade girls interested in playing volleyball, there will be a volleyball camp here starting on Thursdays during the month of May. Please stop and pick up a form in the office and get it and the money back to Mrs. Nolan. You must be registered to attend.

Thursday, April 24 - Rainbow Day "Wear as many colors as possible!" Friday, April 25 - Twin Day "Twin with your Sadie Hawkins date or a friend!" Track results from last night.... The lady Trojans beat Beal City in the first track meet of the season 89 to 71...The Boys' track team put together a solid victory last night in Beal City. the Trojans defeated the Aggies by a score of 100 to 60. Times and placings will be posted outside of the office.

Lake City Softball program would like to invite you and your family to come and dine with us at the Cadillac Culver's Restaurant to help raise money for the upcoming softball season. Culver's will donate 10% of the sales collected for the night to the softball program for equipment and apparel. time is 5 to 8 pm. Culver's in located in Cadillac on Boon Road in from of Meijer. Hope to see you all there!
