MS Track Meeting The 7th and 8th grade students who signed up for Track please plan to meet in the band room today during your lunch time. Mr. Robertson will have more details for you regarding Track.
Missaukee Area Ball Association Summer ball registration will begin next Tuesday and Wednesday, March 24 & 25 for students ages 5-15. Registration will be at the high school in the main lobby from 6:30-8:00pm. These are the only two days to register so please let your parents know. Registration forms will be available at the high school during registration hours;6:30-8pm next Tuesday and Wednesday.
Cell Phone Use Reminder-
Student reminder-If you need to contact your family regarding illness or other questions you need to use the office phone and not your cell phone. As a reminder, the Student Handbook states that "Cell phones will not be turned on during instructional hours. Cell phones must be turned off and put away at the five minute tardy bell prior to the beginning of the school day and remain put away until the school day is done. Cell phones may be used during lunch hour. A cell phone that is visible during instructional hours will be confiscated."
Parent Reminder-Parents are discouraged from attempting to communicate with their student via cell phone during the school day. Since cell phone usage is prohibited during school hours, parents should contact the school office if there is immediate need for communication.
Sidewalk Usage With the sidewalks now clear of snow students need to be using the sidewalks instead of walking on the roads. Thank you!
March is Reading Month! This Friday will be "Dress as Your Favorite Book Character" Day. You have another chance to earn spirit points for your class. Continue to read and pass AR tests to be entered in the drawings for Scholastic Book Fair certificates and a chance to win a Kindle. There is another drawing for a Scholastic Gift certificate this Thursday.
Popcorn Day Tomorrow is Popcorn Day. Let your advisory teacher know and pay $.50 per bag. Popcorn will be delivered tomorrow during your advisory class.
MS Dance Tomorrow there is a MS dance sponsored by LCHS Baseball Team. The cost is $2.00 to get in. Pop is $.75 and pizza is $1.00.
