Attn: 6^th grade girls – there will be basketball from 10:30-12:00 tomorrow, October 11^th at the high school gym.  Volleyball will continue at the middle school from 9:00 – 10:30 which is a time change so you can participate in basketball.

 

The Lake City Athletic Boosters will be sponsoring a “Celebrity Server” Dinner on Monday, October 13^th, 4-8:00 PM at Sylvia’s Hometown Café.  Come support our Athletic Boosters to help earn money for our new team room.

 

If you are interested in 4-H pick up a flyer in the office.

 

The 8^th grade volleyball team won against Evart in last night’s match.  With only 2 weeks left, the girls continue to work hard and improve their game.  Good work ladies!

The 7^th grade volleyball team had a slow start last night but they pulled it together and defeated Evart 11-21, 21-8, and 21-12.  Our next game is Monday at NMC.  Reminder no 7^th grade volleyball practice tonight.

The 7th and 8th grade football teams were in action at home last night. In the first game, the 7th graders played outstanding on both sides of the ball and showed great pride and teamwork.  Final score Lake City 27 Brethren 0. The 8th graders followed playing Baldwin.  Hard work is paying off and all players contributed to a very well played game.  Again, teamwork and sportsmanship were the key difference.  Final score Lake City 55

The 7^th grade volleyball team won another exciting game last night against Manton 19-21, 21-17, 21-12.  The 8^th grade volleyball team ended their winning streak in Manton last night.  Come support our two teams Thursday at home vs Evart.

 

Staff meeting today will be in Mrs. Linderman room.

Just a reminder the Book Fair is this week in the library.

 

Congratulations to the cross country team for their excellent performance at Saturday's meet in Pine River.  Despite the very cold weather everyone ran a great race.  Good luck at your next meet!
