The 7th grade volleyball team beat the Bucks of Pine River last night 21 to 11, 21 to 11 and 21 to 9. Everyone on the team played a great game and they remain undefeated! After a slow start, the 8th grade volleyball team dominated 15-21, 21-11, 21-4. The Trojans face off against the Ramblers on Monday at McBain at 5 o'clock.

 

Congratulations to eighth graders Emily Corwin and Hollie Eising who are now part  of Student Council

 

The Missaukee County sheriff’s office is sponsoring an ORV training class on October 9.  You must pre-register by calling 839-4338 extension 1.

 

On Monday you can purchase raffle tickets for an 8GB iPod Touch. Tickets may be purchased before or after school from Mr. Kent. Cost $1.00 Drawing will be held on October 29th.  Second prize: $25.00 iTunes card  Third prize: Mrs. Linderman’s Scooby Doo Mystery Machine Lunch Box. Proceeds go to help fund Camp Rotary.

Our football team lost a tough ball game to Manton last night. 

 

The Kiwanis Club will host their spaghetti dinner on tonight at the elementary  cafeteria from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Proceeds will provide coats for area children.

 

 

The Missaukee County sheriff’s office is sponsoring an ORV training class on October 9.  You must pre-register by calling 839-4338 extension 1.

Students: Remember if you are absent from school you or your parents can check the teachers’ blog to see what assignments you missed. 

 

 

Student Council sign-up sheets are due today  after school. Voting will be Friday, September 24th during Homeroom.

 

 

The Kiwanis Club will host their spaghetti dinner on tomorrow night, September 23 from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Proceeds will provide coats for area children.

 

 

We have extra yearbooks!   If you did not order a yearbook last year and would still like to get one, please see Mrs. Swinehart in the library before school or during your lunch.

Students: Remember if you are absent from school you or your parents can check the teachers’ blog to see what assignments you missed. 

 

 

If you are interested in being part of organizing school dances, raising money for the Missaukee Humane Society and other groups, and being involved in other school activities, than you may want to run for Student Council.  There are four positions available in the 6th grade, three positions in the 7th grade, and 2 positions in the 8th grade.  Stop by Mrs. Gottschall’s room to get the sign-up sheet.  Voting will be Friday, September 24th during Homeroom.

The Missaukee County sheriff’s office is sponsoring an ORV training class on October 9 at the EMS building located at 404 1st Street from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Class is limited to 20 students.  Students must bring a sack lunch and DO NOT need to bring their ORV to class.  You must pre-register by calling 839-4338 extension 1.
