WEXFORD-MISSAUKEE CAREER TECHNICAL CENTER – The CTC will host a wide variety of summer camps for middle school students, June 17-19. The camps include culinary, floral design, and welding/metal fabrication. Information and registration forms are available in the middle school office.

 

Pennies for Patients coin collection At the end of the first week of Pennies for Patients, we have raised $00.00. Give yourselves a pat on the back and keep on collecting with our weekend challenge! This weekend, think of the year that you were born and try to find coins made in that year! Bring them back to your classroom to show your teacher and put them into your Pennies box.

MISSAUKEE-OSCEOLA YOUTH SOCCER REGISTRATION FOR FALL 2013 Fall Youth Soccer Registration Dates. The Missaukee-Osceola Youth Soccer Association will be registering soccer players ages 6-11 (before August 1, 2013) at Northern Michigan Christian School on May 2nd from 4-6 and May 9th at Lake City High School from 6-8 pm. Pennies for Patients coin collection  -- Did you know that the life expectancy of a coin is 30 years? Paper money, like dollar bills, usually only last for 1 1/2 years! Coins really add up! The US Mint estimates that there is 13 billion dollars in loose change laying around in the US! Check under couch cushions, in the car, in your locker, on the sidewalk and in your family's junk drawer! Thanks for fighting cancer...one penny at a time!

Track Results: Last night the Lake City Girls Track team beat Evart 94.5 to 60.5. A great effort was given by all. The Boys' track ran into a powerful Evart team. Lake City came up short with a score of 101 to 57.
