Lake City Middle School Bulletin for Thursday, April 30, 2015

6th Grade Volleyball Skills Camp 6th Grade girls will have the opportunity to attend a volleyball skills camp in a series of Thursdays in May. If interested please stop in to the office to pick up a form. The cost if $20 per student and all forms are due by Friday, May 1. This Friday!!

MS Track Results for April 29 The Lake City Boys’ track team put together a great meet last night, defeating the Marion Eagles by a score of 110.5 to 51.5. The Lady Trojan’s beat the Marion Lady Eagles with a score of 104 to 50. Great job to both the girls and boys track team!

Lake City Variety Show The Lake City Variety Show will be this Saturday, May 2, in the high school auditorium. This event will be a fun event where all can enjoy watching comedy, singing, and a variety of acts presented by fellow students from the elementary, middle school, and high school. The cost is $3-student, $5-adult, and $13-family. We hope to see you at this fun filled family event! For those who are in the Lake City Variety Show-Dress rehearsal is on Friday, May 1, at 5:30 in the high school auditorium.

Summer Basketball Camp Attention: All 6th-8th grade boys interested in attending Trojan Basketball Camp this summer, please pick-up a registration form in the office and return with payment by Friday, May 18th. 6th and 7th graders: YELLLOW SHEET. 8th graders: BLUE SHEET. If you have any questions please see Mr. Besko.

Pennies for Patients If you have a Pennies for Patients box with money you can turn them in to your Advisory Teacher. Currently the total raised in donations totals $307 with Mr. Kent's class in the lead. Remember that class that collects the most earns a pizza party! Collection for Pennies for Patients will continue through May 8. Thank you for your donation!

MS Track Results Last night the lady Trojans won both meets. LC 80 and Evart 71. LC 78 and Pine River 73. Great job!! The boys ran a double dual meet against Pine River and Evart last night It was a close meet with Evart, losing by a score of 69.5 to 84.5. Things looked better against Pine River with the boys winning by a score of 88 to 70.

Lake City Middle School Bulletin for Monday, April 27, 2015

Friday's Track Results Last Friday the Lake City Girls & boys track teams competed in the Manton invitational. Both teams placed 5th out of 13 teams. The Lake City track members put in a fine performance with great team effort on a very chilly night. Results are posted outside Mr. Robertson's door.

8th Grade Basketball Camp Any 8th grade boys interested in summer basketball meet Mr. Besko in room 164 at 11:45 today for a brief meeting. Thank you!
