The Middle School Football team won their second game of the year last night with a score of 29-14. Excellent job everyone.

The Missaukee County Sheriff’s Office will conduct an ORV training class on October 8 at the 404 1st Street (EMS building) beginning at 8 am. Class is limited to 20 students.  All participants must bring a sack lunch but do not bring your ORV.  Please call to pre-register 839-4338 extension 1.

The cafeteria is offering FREE breakfast to all students. The cafeteria is open beginning  at 7:45 a.m.

2011 Missaukee Conservation District poster contest information is in the office. If you are interested in submitting a poster stop in the office and pick up the information packet.

Picture Day is today.  Every student will get their picture taken even if you are not purchasing a photo package. If your parent did not send in a picture packet they can go on-line to purchase pictures. Stop in the office for information.

Attention last year’s motech students – go to Mr. Kent’s room at this time to pick up your projects.

 

Last night at NMC the 7th grade volleyball team soundly defeated the Comets – 21-18, 21-18, 15-21 and 21-13.  Excellent team effort, keep up the good work. The 8th grade volleyball team won their third match of the season last night at Northern Michigan Christian. The girls played great as a team and won all five games they played. Come watch them Thursday at home at 5 pm against the Aggies of Beal City.

Mark your calendar and get ready for Picture Day this Wednesday, September 21! Picture Day flyers / order forms were recently sent home.

Attention 6th grade:  Beginning today, you will be marked tardy if you are late to class.

Student Council runs dances and holds several fundraisers throughout the year.  There are four 6th grade positions, two 7th grade positions, and two 8th grade positions.  Anyone who would like to be on it can pick up a sign-up sheet from Mrs. Gottschall.  It must be properly filled out and returned to Mrs. Gottschall by tomorrow Tuesday, September 20th.  Student Council voting will be held Friday, September 23rd during Homeroom. Current 7th and 8th grade students who are already on Student Council, and wish to remain on it, need to let Mrs. Gottschall know a.s.a.p.
