ANNOUNCEMENTS – Friday, December 16, 2011

The 7th and 8th grade boys basketball team played well against Evart.  The 7th grade dropped the first game to Evart and the 8th grade won over the Wildcats. Great job!

Student Council will be hosting a door decorating contest.    Judging will be next week Tuesday and will be based on creativity of the door and how close the door resembles the song.  Winners will be announced the next day, Wednesday,  during Homeroom.

The Trojan Food Zone is now open for business at the high school concession stand.  Reasonably priced food and beverages will be available on a daily basis from 3:30 to 4 pm.

Reminder to students walking to the high school/elementary building... you must walk to Huron Street and then walk over to the high school/elementary building.  You are not to walk on Houghton Street.

Another reminder to student athletes:   athletic pictures will be taken right after school today in the gym.  Make sure you have your uniform and picture envelope with you.

The middle school band concert will be held tonight beginning at 7 pm.

ANNOUNCEMENTS – Tuesday, December 13, 2011

Student Council will be hosting a door decorating contest.    Judging will be next week Tuesday and will be based on creativity of the door and how close the door resembles the song.  Winners will be announced the next day, Wednesday,  during Homeroom.

Last night our 7th and 8th grade basketball teams traveled to McBain to play the Ramblers.  The first game was a high scoring affair with McBain winning 53-33 over our 7th graders.  In the second game our 8th graders dominated the entire game winning 41-33.  We play our last home game of the season Thursday against Evart.

ANNOUNCEMENTS – Monday, December 12, 2011

Student and staff have donated 958 items for Project Christmas. The winner of the ice cream sundae party is Mrs. Nowak’s homeroom. They donated 193 items.  Second place was Mr. Petrosky’s homeroom and third place was Mr. Kent’s homeroom. A complete list of homerooms and donations is posted outside of Ms. Porter’s office. Thank you to all who participated.
