A reminder to staff members:  there is an all-district meeting at 3:20 pm in the high school auditorium.

 

The Wexford-Missaukee Career Tech Center will be holding summer camps June 15-17.  Explore one of many exciting 3-day camps full of hands-on activities and programs.  This camp is open to grade 6 to 8.  Stop in the office and pick up a blue form.

 

The Reed City 3 on 3 basketball tournament will be held on March 26.  Stop in the office and pick up a form if you are interested.

 

8th grade students:   Greenfield Village trip tuition can be paid anytime.  Stop in before school or during your lunch.

 

A reminder to 6th grade students – your Camp Rotary tuition needs to be paid before you go to camp. Stop in the office before school or during your lunch.  Camp Rotary week one begins next Monday.

 

The Missaukee County Road Commission requests your cooperation through the winter months while snowplowing is taking place.  We ask that you be aware of the fact that the plows are on the roads many mornings at the same time that the buses are picking students up.  We urge you to make sure that you wait a safe distance from the plowed portion of the roadway until the bus actually arrives at your stop.  It is important that we work together to make certain of your safety.

 

A reminder to students walking to the high school/elementary building, you need to go one street towards town and then walk to the other building.  You are not to walk on Houghton Street.  Along this same note, students should not be walking through someone's yard to get to or from school.  Please walk on the sidewalk or road's edge.

 

Students:  Remember if you are absent from school you or your parents can check the teachers' blog to see what assignments you missed.

The 7th and 8th grade bands will be traveling to Manistee High School this Friday to perform at the MSBOA District 1 Band Festival. The public is welcome to attend. Band members need to turn in their permission slips to Mr. Youngman or into the office.

 

8th grade students – please turn in your permission slip for the CTC visit. The visit is scheduled for tomorrow.

Lake City's 7th grade girls basketball team beat Brethren on Thursday night.  The score was 18 to 7. The 8th grade team also won, 39-8
