Last night Lake City girls track team beat Pine River 88 to 66.

Placing for the lady Trojans in:

Shot put  Sarah Taylor 1st, Meranda Bowers 2nd , Hallie Phelps 3rd

Long jump  Brook Horton 3rd

High jump  Autumn Baker 1st

3200 meter run  Brittnae Barkley 1st, Karlie Maxwell 2nd.

55 hurtles Autumn Baker 1st , Nicole Whitney 3rd

800 relay  consisting of  Hunt, Baker,Guest,and Booms  2nd

800 run  Makayla Schichtel 1st , Monica Smith 2nd, Annie Deforge 3rd

1600 run   Brittnae Barkley  2nd , Twilight Wagner 3rd

100 dash  Brooke Horton 1st, Taylor Wilkerson 3rd

400 run Sophie Booms 2nd

3200 relay of Whitney,Smith, Schichtel, and Helsel 1st

70 meter dash  Brooke Horton 2nd, Twilight Wagner 3rd

200 hurtles Annie Deforge  2nd

200 dash Taylor Wilkerson 2nd Brittnae Barkley  3rd

1600 relay consisting of Schichtel, Guest, Deforge, and Booms,  1st

400 relay  consisting of Taylor, Hunt, Helsel, and Wilkerson  3rd

The Trojan Boy’s track team scored a resounding win over the Pine River Bucks last

night, 114-48.

In shot put, Gabe Ruell, John Shane and Dylan Allard took the first three spots.

High jump found Dan Liestenfeltz and Zach Stephen dueling it out for a first and second

while Brent Benavides took third.

Levi Burkholder and Tom Platt took first and third in the long jump

Storm Francisco, Ryan Vincent and Andrew Beattie took the first three places in pole

vault.

Ethan Wagner placed third in the 3200 meter run.

Ryan Vincent, AJ Gatica and Kevin Kunkel finished first, second and fourth in the 55

meter hurdles.

The relay of Stephan, Marion, Benavides and Burkholder won the 800 meter relay.

Kyler Root, Daniel Cuevas and Bryant Molitor finished first, third and fourth in the 800

meter run.

Chris Swanson and Andrew Beattie placed third and fourth in the 1600 meter run.

Jimmy Hollars, Tom Platt and Gabe Ruell placed second, third and fourth in the 100

meter dash.

AJ Gatica, Jimmy Hollars and Chris Houghton finished first, second and fourth in the 400

meter dash.

The relay team of Liestenfeltz, Hancock, Cuevas and Root won the 3200 meter relay.

Storm Francisco, Jerzey Hancock and Drew Marion placed first, third and fourth in the

70 meter dash.

Ryan Vincent won the 200 meter hurdle event.

Levi Burkholder, Brent Benavides and Andrew Beattie placed first, second and fourth in

the 200 meter dash.

The relay team of Francisco, Swanson, Kunkel and Marion won the 1600 meter relay.

Finally, Zach Stephan, AJ Gatica, Tom Platt and Jimmy Hollars ended the night winning

the 400 meter relay.

It was a great meet. Come and see us compete Friday afternoon.

The Wexford-Missaukee Career Tech Center is offering summer camps in Computer, Culinary, Mechanic Floral Design and more for grades 6-9.  Pick up a registration form in the office. Space is limited to first come, do it today.

 

The Lake Missaukee Fire Explorer program is putting on a presentation in the Lake City High School auditorium on April 28th, 2009 at 4:00 after school. You must be at least 14 years old to attend. If you are interested please join us.

 

The Missaukee County Sheriff’s office is offering an ORV training class on May, 9, 2009; the class is limited to 20 students.  You must pre-register by calling 839-4338 ext 1

 

The challenge for this week is “Share at least one heartfelt appreciation for a friend who has been by your side through thick and thin”
