Lake City Middle School Bulletin for Thursday, April 02, 2015

Spirit Days Yesterday's winners of Beach Day was the 7th grade with 79% participation. Today is Red, Black, & White Day. We look forward to seeing your spring "Trojan" spirit continue throughout the rest of the year!


Lake City Variety Show Get your ACT together for the Lake City Variety Show! We are looking for 3 minute "school appropriate" acts for the Lake City Variety Show held on Saturday, May 2. If you are interested or a group of friends are interested in sharing your talent or an act please stop into the office to sign-up this week. Auditions will be held on Wednesday, April 15 from 3:30-8:00pm in the High School Auditorium. If you are not interested in being in the variety show but would like to help out we are also looking for backstage helpers and more. If interested in helping please contact Ms. Porter.


MS Lost & Found Today is the last day to check out the "Lost & Found" table outside of Ms. Porter's office. Any items left on the table will be donated to area organizations over spring break.


MABA Registration If you missed the Missaukee Area Ball Association sign-ups at the high school last week you can still register. Please stop in to the office and pick up a registration form today!


Gym Lockers Attention: any students who are no longer in P.E. or still have a P.E. lock from a sport season need to return those to Mr. Besko this week and clean out your locker. If you have any questions see Mr. Besko. Thank you!

Spirit Days Yesterday's winners of Mismatch Day was actually a tie between the 6th & 7th grade classes with 69% participation. Today is Beach Day and tomorrow is Red, Black, & White Day. Keep up the spring "Trojan" spirit!

Lake City Middle School Bulletin for Tuesday, March 31, 2015

Spirit Days Yesterday's winners of Sports Day went to the 8th graders with 41% participation and 6th in second with 40%. Today is Mismatch Day. We look forward to seeing all of our "mismatched" students in the halls! Staff will be visiting your first hour classes to count participants. Remember that tomorrow is Beach Day (remember it’s also picture day so wear clothing in the morning for pictures) and Thursday is Red, Black, & White Day.


Spring Pictures Get ready for Picture Day! Spring Picture Day is tomorrow, Wednesday, April 1. Make Picture Day easy with these tips from Lifetouch School Portraits: • Choose clothing with solid colors or simple patterns. • Avoid clothing with slogans and logos. • Long-sleeved shirts are best.

Lake City Middle School Bulletin for Monday, March 30, 2015

Spirit Days Spring is near so to celebrate students get to show their spirit once more by participating in special “spring” dress up days this week. Today is Sports Day, (Favorite Team or athlete), Tuesday-Mismatch Day, Wednesday-Beach Day (remember it’s also picture day so wear clothing in the morning for pictures), Thursday-Red, Black, & White Day. Staff will be visiting 1st hour classes this week to count participation. Think Spring!

March is Reading Month Tomorrow is the last drawing for the Scholastic Book Fair Certificate and Thursday will be the drawing for the Kindles. Good news is that you still have some time to take those AR tests and get added to the drawing.


Spring Break No school this Friday, April 3, through Friday, April 10th. We look forward to seeing you Monday, April 13th. Enjoy your break!
