Bear Claw trash bags order forms are due today; turn your forms in to the office.

 

The 7^th grade volleyball team continued to roll last night with an impressive win over Beal City, 21-9, 21-14.  Superb job ladies!  The 8^th grade team was defeated last night by an excellent Beal City 8^th grade team. Our last two games of the year are next week and both are here in own gym.  Come support the teams Monday against Pine River and Thursday against McBain.

There will be a dance tomorrow until 5:00 PM.  Admission is $2.00.  Pizza and Pop will be sold. Have your ride here at 5:00.  School rules apply at the dance, if you leave the building you will not be able to return.

 

 

ORV Training Classes are being sponsored by the Missaukee County Sheriff’s Office.  When:  Oct. 25, 2008

Where:  404 First St. (EMS Building)

Time:  8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Must pre-register by calling 839-4338 ext. #1

Bring a sack lunch and DO NOT bring your ORV

The Middle School football team played at home last night.  Both Lake City teams managed to hang on and come away victorious.  Good sportsmanship as usual reflected the character of both teams. 7th grade score LC 27, Roscommon 20.

8th grade score LC 30, Roscommon 20. Final game of the season is at Pine River next Wednesday.

 

The cross country team ran a great meet in their last meet on Tuesday.  Placing well for Lake City was Brittnae Barkley who ran a 15:30, her personal best for the season.  She placed 11 overall in our conference.  Also placing well was Monica Smith, she placed 12th in the conference.  Congratulations to all of the members of the cross country team on a great season!

Mr. Atkin’s Midget football team will be practicing Wed and Thurs of this week.

 

The 8^th grade volleyball team dominated over NMC in 5 games last night, 21-12, 20-22, 21-14, 18-21, 15-11.  7^th grade easily defeated NMC last night 22-20, 23-25, 21-7, 21-6, 21-15 wish the girls good luck for Thursday at Beal City nice job Lady Trojans!

The Lake City Athletic Boosters will be sponsoring a “Celebrity Server” Dinner on Monday, October 13^th, 4-8:00 PM at Sylvia’s Hometown Café.  Come support our Athletic Boosters to help earn money for our new team room.
