Manton Schools will be offering their NorthStar Basketball Camp again this year.  If you are interested in attending this camp, stop in the office and pick up a form.

 

Lunch charges need to be paid,  beginning Monday, May 2, you will not be able to charge any more.

 

Applications for the Riley Wilderness Youth Camp scholarships are available in the office.  Twenty-two all-expense paid packages will be awarded for each of the three camps offered.  Applications will be considered until June 18th, although, qualified students will be chosen as the applications are submitted. 

 

Missaukee County Sheriff's Office is hosting a Boating Safety class on May 14 from 10-4.  The event is free, but you must pre-register and bring a sack lunch.  To register, call 839-4338 extension 1.

 

It is buy one get one free of equal or lesser value at the book fair this week.  

 

Yearbooks can still be purchased if students have not done so yet. Forms can be picked up in the library and office.

 

 A reminder to students walking to the high school/elementary building, you need to go one street towards town and then walk to the other building.  You are not to walk on Houghton Street.  Along this same note, students should not be walking through someone's yard to get to or from school.  Please walk on the sidewalk or road's edge.

 

Students:  Remember if you are absent from school you or your parents can check the teachers' blog to see what assignments you missed.
