Summer Skills Camp registrations forms are in the office pick up a form if you would like to attend camp this summer.  Deadline is Friday, May 30.

 

Check the lost and found in the hallway across from the library.  Everything will be discarded after school is out.

 

Cheer Team try-outs will be held today and tomorrow, May 27 and 28 right after school until 5:15 p.m. You must be present for both days.  Try-outs will be held on Friday – you must be present for the try-outs on Friday to be eligible for the team. Come dressed and ready to practice. Meet in Ms. Ellis’ room at the middle school.

 

Current 8^th grade boys interested in playing basketball next year as freshman and attending open gym this summer.  Sign up in the office.

 

8^th grade girls interested in playing volleyball, there will be a meeting tomorrow morning during homeroom in Mrs. Slocum’s room.

All track participants are invited to a before school award gathering complete with donuts and juice!! This will start at 7:20 am on Friday, May 23 in the middle school gym!

 

If you think you have “perfect” or “nearly perfect” attendance for the school year, please see Mrs. Vokes or leave a note for her with your name on it in the office.  Perfect attendance = no tardies, less than one day absent.  Nearly perfect attendance = no more than 2 days away from school and no more than three tardies for all year.

Sports physicals will be offered to middle school students planning to participate in athletics during the 2008-09 school year on Tuesday, May 20.   Physicals will be performed by Primary Care of Houghton Lake.  Students MUST have a completed physical card and $10 to receive a physical.  No money and/or an incomplete physical card means NO PHYSICAL.  (CHECKS ARE TO BE MADE OUT TO: PRIMARY CARE.)  Physical cards will be in the middle school office beginning Monday, May 12. 

REMEMBER - when filling out your card - use next year’s information.
