Needed forms- If you didn't turn in your emergency cards, Technology Use forms, or lunch forms in last week please turn them in today to the office or your advisory teacher. It is very important that we receive all forms TODAY.

Lunch Tote For those of you that bring your lunch there will be a black tote for you to put your lunch bags/boxes in after you are done eating if you don't want to carry it with you. If you have "A" lunch time please be sure to get your lunch items out prior to "B" lunch time.

Northern Stars Fastpitch Softball Do you want to be part of an exciting travel softball experience? If so, Northern Stars Fastpitch Softball is looking for girls that are between the ages of 10-14 years old. Tryouts for the Northern Stars Fastpitch Softball Team will be September 20th at 1:30pm for 10-12 year olds at CASA Fields in Cadillac and for 13-14 years on September 23 at 5:30 at CASA Fields. MS Volleyball Scores Last night our 7th and 8th grade volleyball teams went against Pine River. The 7th grade won against Pine River with scores of: 25/18, 25/20, & 25/13. The 8th grade had a loss against the Bucks but played hard with scores of 25/19, 13/25, and 15/25. Good job to all the players and coaches!

School pictures are scheduled for Thursday, September 24.

There will be a Jostens meeting for sophomores 2nd hour in the auditorium Tuesday, September 22 regarding class rings.

Courtesy Driving School will be offering Segments 1 and 2 starting in November.

COUNSELOR’S CORNER

Schedule changes may be done through the end of the day Friday. A schedule change form must be filled out in the office. You must attend your currently scheduled classes until changes are made.

ATHLETICS

Varsity Cross Country @ Manton, dismissal 3:00 p.m., bus departs 3:15 p.m., relay starts at 4:30 p.m.

There will be a short meeting at 12:20 today in the gym for any boy or girl interested in being on the golf team this spring.

Needed forms- Please turn in emergency cards and Student Technology Use Policy forms in to your first hour teacher. These forms need to be turned in no later than Thursday of this week.

MS Football Scrimmage at Pine River tonight for those who would like to go cheer on our fellow football team. The game starts at 5:30.

For our MS football players-be sure to be at the school no later than 4:00pm today.

Middle School Open House The Middle School Teachers and Staff would like to welcome you back to school! The Middle School Open House is Tuesday, September 1 from 5:30-7:00pm at the Middle School. We are hosting a pizza party for MS families in the front of the building. If inclement weather the dinner will be in the gymnasium. Students will receive a copy of their schedule and other important information then. We look forward to the 2015-2016 year!

MS Picture Day Fall pictures will take place on the first day of school, September 8. All pictures will be taken by Life touch in the morning. Picture flyers are available in the office during Open House. Retakes are schedule for November 18, 2015.

Reminder to students that have outstanding charges whether for lunch, for a band reeds or other supplies, or library fines, please pay those charges asap.

Reminder to Students to clean out your lockers and check out the lost & found table for any missing items. Items left after the school year will be donated. Thank you!

Sports Physicals must be completed after April 15, 2015 in order to be considered current. All sports physicals need to be submitted to the office prior to participating in fall practice sessions.

Atom Models- Any student interested in keeping their atom model that is hanging in Mrs. Bisballe's class will need to get it before the end of the school year-this Wednesday.

P.E. Lockers Attention: Any student who currently has a P.E. lock borrowed from Mr. Besko and is not currently in P.E. class, please clean out your locker and return the lock to Mr. Besko ASAP. Thank you!

Basketball Camp Reminder: Basketball Camp for 6th & 7th grade boys begins today at the high school from 3:30-5:30pm. Please walk to the high school after school and get dressed in the boys locker room. If you have forms and money to turn in please bring that with you! If you have questions see Mr. Besko. 8th graders you may also still turn in your forms up until the first day of Night Camp June 15th at 5:30 pm. If you have any questions see Mr. Besko.
