The will be an open gym for volleyball on Sunday, April 27 from 4- 6 pm, at the high school gym for any 8th grade ladies interested in playing volleyball next fall.

 

There will be a dance this Friday, April 25th, after school until 5:00 pm.  Pizza and pop will be sold, Hot Traxx will DJ.  Have your rides here promptly at 5:00.  If you leave the building you will not be able to return.

 

The Lake City boys were very successful at Marion yesterday, beating NMC and Marion.

Placing for the Trojans were:

Nolan Davenport and Tim Sherman placing 2nd and 4th in the high jump.

Jake Siler, Storm Francisco and Ryan Vincent placing 1st, 2nd and 4th in the Pole Vault.

Alec Ash, Kevin Smith, Levi Burkholder and Jared Hansen taking first through fourth in the long jump.

Zach Peery, Kenny Goschke and Alec Ash taking 2nd, 3rd and 4th in the 55 meter hurdles

Jared Hansen, Zack Lichon Levi Burkholder and Zach Peery wining the 800 meter relay.

Jake Siler, Kyler Root and Troy Flint finishing 1, 2 and 3 in the 800 meter run.

James Cox taking 2nd in the 1600 meter run.

Ethan Hinkston, Jimmy Hollars and Brandon McDonald finishing 2nd, 3rd and 4th in the 100 meter dash.

Nolan Davenport, Alec Ash and Kyler Root taking the top three finishes in the 400 meter dash.

Dan Liestenfelts, Jake Siler, Troy Flint and Jared Wright won the 3200 meter relay.

Storm Francisco and Zack Lichon took first and second in the 70 meter dash.

Zach Peer placed first with Kevin Smith and Dan Liestenfelts finishing third and fourth in the 200 meter hurdles.

The 200 meter dash found Nolan Davenport finishing 2nd, Ethan Hinkston finishing 3rd and Storm Francisco finishing fourth.

The newly formed 400 meter relay team of James Cox, Zack Lichon, Jimmy Hollars and Ethan Hinkston ended the meet with a win.

The Lake City team dominated with a final score of NMC 12, Marion 41 and Lake City 100.

There will be softball practice from 2-4:00 pm for current 7th and 8th grade girls behind the middle school.
