The Missaukee County Commission on Aging is offering a family oriented self-protection program for Teens to Seniors.  Learn how to protect yourself and your family.  Cost is $5.00, Saturday, June 13, 10:00-12:00 at the Missaukee EMS Building.  Call 839-7839 to register. If you are interested there is a poster on the bulletin board outside the office with more information.

 

There will be a dance this Friday, May 22 after school until 5.  The cost is $2.  Pizza and pop will be sold. Hott Traxx will DJ. 8^th Wonder will play immediately after the dance until 5:30.  Hope you will be there.

 

Lake City Girls Summer Basketball/Volleyball Camps July 13-15 pick up a flyer in the office.

 

There will be track party Thursday until 4:30, cost $5.00 per person.

 

Those girls interested in the cheer team:  try-outs will be held Wednesday and Thursday (after Memorial Day), May 27 and 28 in the high school cafeteria.  Come dressed in appropriate practice clothes.  Tryouts will begin at 3:45 p.m. and end at 5:15 p.m.

 

Challenge of the week - Take time this week to look in the mirror, look yourself in the eyes and appreciate yourself for at least 5 things!
