8th grade volleyball won their 5th game of the season last night against Pine River, 25-23 25-12 and 25-19. The girls played well as a team and really showed improvement. Last night the 7th grade volleyball team defeated a tough Pine River team 26-24, 26- 24 and 25-15. Excellent serving and teamwork, girls. Watch them Thursday home against the Ramblers at 5 pm.
There will be a student council meeting during Homeroom on Wednesday.
Wexford Missaukee Career Tech Center will be holding their annual Open House on October 4 from 6-8 pm.
The Missaukee County Sheriff’s Office will conduct an ORV training class on October 8 at the 404 1st Street (EMS building) beginning at 8 am. Class is limited to 20 students. All participants must bring a sack lunch but do not bring your ORV. Please call to pre-register 839-4338 extension 1.
Reminder to students walking to the high school….. you must walk to Huron Street and walk over to the high school/elementary building. You are not to walk on Houghton Street.
