High school weight room is open for any 8th grader, especially those who are planning on playing football next year. The weight room is open Mondays, Wednesday and Thursdays.

Middle School Yearbooks Orders are now being taken for the 2012/2013 year books. Order forms are available in the office or the library. The cost is $15 and the deadline is March 15th.

3 on 3 basketball tournament The Reed City Coyote Classic 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament will be held on Saturday, March 23 at the Reed City High School. Also there is a 3 on 3 tournament in Pine River on Saturday, March 16. If you are interested in playing in either of these tournaments, stop in the office and pick up a flyer.

March is Reading Month! For every three points that you earn on an AR test your name will be put into drawings that will be held every Wednesday and Friday throughout March. The first drawing will be Friday March 8th. You can win $10 gift certificates for the book fair that is being held in April. Also, on March 28th there will be a drawing for kindles. One student from each grade can win one. Finally, the student in the school who ends March with the most AR points will win a $10 book fair gift certificate too. All AR tests taken must be in your current reading level to count.

Daylight Savings Time begins this Sunday. Be sure to "spring" your clocks ahead so you get to school on time on Monday!

Middle School track practice begins on Monday, March 18. There are sign up sheets in the office.

No School - Good Friday! Spring Break will begin on Friday, March 29 - Good Friday and will run until Sunday, April 7.
