ORV training class will be held September 21, 2013 at the Missaukee EMS Building, 404 1st Street. Class will run from 8 am to 2 pm. Class is limited to 20 students. Students must bring a sack lunch. Do NOT bring your ORV. Call The Missaukee County Sheriff's department 231-839-4338 ext 1 to pre-register.

3rd Annual Athletic Boosters Pig Roast will be held this Friday, September 13th from 5 to 7 pm at the Lake City Athletic Complex. Pulled pork, baked beans and potato salad will be served. $5 per person/$20 per family. Take outs are available. Proceeds from this event support Lake City Area Schools athletic programs.

MIDDLE SCHOOL VOLLEYBALL PARENT MEETING is tonight from 4:45 to 5:15 pm. The meeting will be held in the middle school gym.

Cadillac Elks Lodge will conduct it Soccer Shoot contest on Saturday, September 14. It will be held at the CASA soccer field on Plett Road in Cadillac. Registration begins at 9 am with the contest beginning at 10 am
