Student Council If you are interested in helping run school dances, participate in fundraisers, and help at the book fairs than Student Council is for you. Members of Student Council are voted on, so if you are interested in being on the voting ballot next Monday, stop by Mrs. Gottschall’s room to get a nomination sheet. There are 4 sixth grade positions, 2 seventh grade positions, and 2 eighth grade positions to fill. If you are currently on Student Council , you must see Mrs. Gottschall by Friday please.


MS Cross Country Last night the Lake City Cross team ran a very hot meet in Beal City. Medaling in 2nd place on the boys side was Aj Comp. All the other Trojan runners just missed medals. Great job team!


Festival of the Pines Dance- Thursday, September 17th from 6:30-8:00pm at the Food & Beverage Tent in downtown Lake City. $2.00 admission fee. Food and refreshments to purchase. DJ-Boo and Brendon Larsen.


ORV Safety Class The Missaukee County Sheriff's Office is offering an ORV Safety Class next Saturday, Sept. 26 at the EMS Building. The class runs from 8a-2pm. Bring a sack lunch. Call 839-4338 to register if interested. There are only 20 seats available.


Northern Stars Fastpitch Softball Do you want to be part of an exciting travel softball experience? If so, Northern Stars Fastpitch Softball is looking for girls that are between the ages of 10-14 years old. Tryouts for the Northern Stars Fastpitch Softball Team will be September 20th at 1:30pm for 10-12 year olds at CASA Fields in Cadillac and for 13-14 years on September 23 at 5:30 at CASA Fields. YMCA-Free 7th Grade Memberships If you are in 7th grade and interested in becoming a member of the Cadillac YMCA then you can with a FREE membership! Parents will need to complete a 7th Grade Y Membership application at the Cadillac Area YMCA.
