Lake City Schools Variety Show Dress Rehearsal for the variety show will be June 3 at 5:30 with the actual Show on Saturday, June 4th at 6:00pm. The cost is $5 at the door, come on out and support our performers.
Yearbooks Yearbooks are still on sale. There are a few weeks left to order your yearbook. Forms are located in the office, hallway or library. Cost is only $16.
Summer is here! With the warm and sunny weather finally here we ask that you remember that sunglasses/hats are not to be warn in school. Also, shorts/skirts should be at least fingertip length. No tank tops. If any questions you can refer to the student handbook for more details. Thank you!
Boys Basketball Camps Attention: all boys’ basketball players interested in playing basketball next year please pick up a Lake City Basketball Camp registration form across from office. 6th and 7th graders grab the GREEN sheet, and 8th graders the BLUE sheet. The camps run June 20-23rd. Also, if you are an 8th grader who is planning on attending the Ferris State Team Camp please get your cash or check of $75 to Coach Besko as soon as possible. If you have any questions about any of the camps please see Coach Besko. Thanks!
Cell Phone/Electronic Device Reminder Remember that all phones and electronic devices should be turned off and placed in your locker once school starts. Use of personal iPods, phones, or other electronic devices can be used during lunch time ONLY. If you need to use the phone for illness please use the office phone. If a student is found in possession of a cell phone it will be confiscated and parents will be asked to pick it up from school. A second offense will result in out-of-school suspension.
Girls Summer Sports Skills Camp For all girls entering 7th and 8th grade next year...we have summer sports skills camp for you to attend. The dates are June 15th - 17th. Stop by during your lunch time to grab a form. Form and payment must be retuned to the office by June 8th.
Honor Roll Day- Your permission slips for Honor Roll Day must be turned into the office today.
Library As most of you know already, the library will be closing for book check out, Wednesday, June 1st. All books will be due back by the end of that day. Notes will be going home Wednesday for any lost books also.
